TORQUE - Automotive Magazine Concept

Torque is an automotive magazine concept focusing on the design of classic, exotic and supercars. As part of my Editorial Design class, each student created their own magazine throughout one semester. Every magazine needed a certain topic and concept and had certain criteria and content it needed to encompass.

"the fastest printed magazine in existence"

Each Torque magazine has a different theme represented by a different main colour and featured car. Below is a series of future cover concepts. Issue 2 would be held in yellow with a spotlight on Lamborghini and its' heritage, while issue 3 explores the world of Bugatti and their landmark car, the Veyron, known for having an exceptional 1001 hp.

Each magazine features a set of graphical elements, which separate each article separating articles and a focus on a different car and brand each time.

Articles span over extensive reports with historical facts and backgrounds of selected cars, as well as interviews with collectors and extraordinary personalities.

Each magazine features a recommended travel destination with insider tips and drivable routes.

Enjoy!
